Translation of the answer this guy gave to the first question comment about completing the quest yet but not getting knowledge :

''need to go back to Nerman Duvencrune to share the prize''..... i tried all 3 locations for nerman and he is nowhere, so any better answer ?

Edit:found on blackdesertcommunity forums that he can be found just in front of NPC Odelphine(Nerman have no marker), NPC finder points an outdated location at that point in the quest

And you do not need to give him any gold bars, I chose the 30 Energy option without gold bars and still got the knowledge.
