- Description: The king advanced to the council chamber and addressed his ministers, saying, "The insolent tradition of besmirching the throne must be eradicated forthwith. Should anyone commit this sin, they shall be punished without consideration of severity, to serve as a stern warning. The living shall be decapitated, and the dead shall have their bones exhumed, ground to dust, and scattered to the winds." With that decree, all those implicated in the downfall of Queen Lee were sentenced to decapitation, numbering over two hundred. The corpses of the already deceased were exhumed, their remains dismembered and displayed in the marketplace.
