- Description: Citrus trees are kept in the homes of the exiled, since the vicious thorns on the branches of citrus trees are said to dissuade attempts at escape. One day, Miss Myo was startled to find her citrus trees had all been replaced with persimmon trees, and she worried that government soldiers might come after her for it. As it so transpired, the trees were a surprise gift from the villagers and the soldiers of Byeot County. They wanted repay Miss Myo for all her good deeds, and they had learned that she loved persimmons. Ever since, soldiers who pass by Miss Myo's house of exile would oft remark, "Miss Myo's citrus trees are a sight to behold. Just look at those ripe red fruits."
