No, the first part have you to do by yourself. But you can let them do the next step, melting that into this:

Same for wood, cutting your wood have you to do by yourself, but only the first step.
But I really recommend take a bit afk time and do it by yourself in all steps, to get 3-4 parts from it, the workers give you always 1 piece.
