Yes, and there you can then excavate for Trace of Savagery with a worker after spending said 25 energy!

Using 1 Trace I had 7 failures and 17 success. @ Skilled 9 alchemy.
Given that Traces are the rare-ish part of this, as long as you beat 50% success rate its better.

Tested the above @ prof 9. 120 crafts gave 157 metal solvent.
Not worth unless you want to play RNG, following the recipe I would of come out with slightly more metal solvent and used half the stone and iron.

This comment was made before people were aware that you could mass farm the manes for the savagery. I would say its best to not shortcut the savagery as in my opinion the rough stone is a bit more valuable
THAT SAID, ill try shortcutting the rocks to 3 and return results at alch pro 5, will edit this comment
Even at Artisian 7 alchemy, you still can't break the above ratio or you will get fails ~33% of the time. So much for higher skill levels allowing you to use fewer reagents.
trying to use iron ore instead of melted iron shard doesnt' quite work at 15, 30 is smallest amount it works with for me at guru 2. just checking in case I process all my shards as I rarely keep shards around when trying to make ingots asap.
so full recipe with ore for me minimum is 1x clear liquid reagent, 4x rough stone, 2x trace of nature, and 30x iron ore
if using iron ingot, 2 is minimum I can use, fails on 1. so I don't think those equivalencies points are accurate anymore.
